Refer a New Walker, Earn Fundraising Credits

Are you registered for The Walk and have a friend who wants to join? Or maybe you haven’t registered yet but want to Step Up with a buddy. From now until August 31, we’re making it easy for everyone to boost their fundraising with our Refer and Raise program.

How To Refer and Raise:

Complete these easy steps to refer a friend and start earning fundraising credit.

Step 1.
Register for The Walk.

Step 2.
Ask your friend, family member, or colleague to enter your name in the referral field when competing their registration.

Step 3.
If your referral raises $100 by August 31, you (the referrer) will receive $100 in fundraising credits and your referral will receive $50 in fundraising credits.

Note: From September 1 onwards, both the referrer and the referral will receive $50 in fundraising credits when the referral raises $100.

There’s no limit to the number of referrals you can make, so follow the steps to get started.

Official Rules
Official Rules Referral credits are not transferable. Referral credits will appear on both your account and the referred participant’s account within two to five business days after the referred participant raises the minimum amount to qualify for the credit. Any person whom you’d like to refer must use your referral code or name that you have on your account. You may only receive credit for referring new participants. A new participant is someone who did not register for the 2021 event. Additional terms and conditions apply.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-spam laws. Any distribution of a Participant ID, including by email or social media, must be done in a personal manner. Bulk email distribution and any use of automated devices or third-party services is prohibited. Program links should only be sent to your own friends, family members, and direct acquaintances. Participants may not purchase Internet search terms or publicly advertise The Princess Margaret Walk to Conquer Cancer (“The Walk”) in any fashion. Further, any distribution of a Referral Code that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam,” any content which impersonates or implies an affiliation with or endorsement by The Walk or any The Walk subsidiary, or any actions which otherwise violate any conditions imposed by The Walk, are prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination without refund of donations received.
